Edogawa-ku Fireworks Festival] Kaiseki cuisine served at the counter Edogawa-ku Fireworks Festival, one of the best fireworks festivals in Kanto
The Edogawa-ku Fireworks Festival is held every August on the banks of the Edogawa River.
This year marks the 50th anniversary of the Edogawa-ku Fireworks Festival, which is one of the largest and most prestigious in the Kanto area, with approximately 14,000 fireworks vividly lighting up the night sky.
Starting with the spectacular opening display of "1,000 shots in 5 seconds," the fireworks display is a true representative of a summer night, with a variety of fireworks in harmony with music and a wide starmine that spreads across the entire width of the river.
The popularity of the festival, which usually attracts more than 900,000 visitors every year, makes the area around the venue extremely crowded every year.
Away from the hustle and bustle, enjoying the fireworks elegantly from a special seat on the boat with a cool river breeze is a unique way to spend time on a houseboat.
Until now, Yakatabune Harumiya has not operated a yakatabune for the Edogawa Fireworks Festival.
However, in response to requests from many customers, we have decided to offer a special operation for this year only.
We have prepared a one-night-only special plan: the Counter Kaiseki Passenger Plan.

This is a special counter kaiseki meal that overturns the common notion of "yakatabune dining.
Each dish, carefully prepared one by one by a chef at the counter on the boat, is beautiful to the eye, and when you put it in your mouth, you can enjoy the blessings of the season and the skill of the chef.
The special menu, created exclusively for this occasion, makes the most of seasonal ingredients, while at the same time offering a combination of glamour and delicacy befitting an evening of fireworks in summer.
We hope that you will enjoy the luxury of savoring the dishes with a sense of exhilaration as you wonder what the next dish will bring.
You can enjoy all-you-can-drink premium beverages, including champagne and whiskey, and watch the fireworks bloom in the night sky over the Edogawa River.
In addition, there will be bench seating on the rooftop deck specially prepared for this event.
You can enjoy a luxurious time looking up at the night sky without the need to stand or squat.
